Official Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the ORUS mobile application ("App") or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, ORUS grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and execute the App on supported Android devices owned or controlled by you:

• Core Free Tier ($0): Grants unlimited local text inference, standard 4k context, up to 3 downloaded active models, single document attachment, and standard offline voice. No account creation required.
• Pro Subscription Tier ($4/mo or $32/yr USD): Unlocks unlimited model storage, expanded 32k context with Flash Attention, on-device Image Generation Studio, natural offline voices, and optional encrypted multi-device cloud backup.
• Ultra Subscription Tier ($8/mo or $64/yr USD): Unlocks frontier 128k context, 4x Neural HD upscaling, live conversational voice duplex loop, local RAG knowledge bases, and hybrid cloud fallback.

3.1. Payment Processing (Merchant of Record)

All subscription purchases, renewals, and cancellations are processed securely by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge your designated payment method on a recurring monthly or annual basis ($4/mo or $32/yr for Pro; $8/mo or $64/yr for Ultra in USD).

3.2. Automatic Renewal & Plan Modifications

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your active subscription at any time via the in-app subscription settings or the Lemon Squeezy Customer Portal.

3.3. Cancellation & Retained Data

Upon cancellation, your Pro or Ultra entitlements remain active through the conclusion of your current prepaid billing period. Subsequently, your account reverts to Core Free. Your local chat history, notebooks, and creations remain preserved on your device.

4.1. Your Input

You retain all ownership rights to any text, documents, images, audio, or files you input into the App ("Input").

4.2. Your Output

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all text, images, code, summaries, and media generated by the local AI models in response to your input ("Output") are your sole property. ORUS asserts zero ownership, copyright, or licensing claims over your generated Output.

You agree to use ORUS responsibly and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You shall not use the App to:

• Generate, store, or distribute unlawful content, hate speech, severe harassment, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
• Synthesize automated cyberattack payloads, exploits, or malware.
• Circumvent, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any proprietary parts of the App application binary wrapper.

ORUS executes advanced AI models directly on your smartphone hardware:

• Inference speed, image generation times, token throughput, and model performance depend directly on your device specifications (SoC processor, RAM capacity, GPU/NPU capabilities).
• Compute-intensive workloads (such as generating continuous batches of high-resolution images or running large 9B models) may cause temporary device warming and increased battery consumption.

Artificial intelligence models produce probabilistic outputs. Output generated by local or cloud models may occasionally contain factual inaccuracies, omissions, or hallucinations.

ORUS does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any generated Output. You are solely responsible for verifying critical legal, medical, financial, or technical information before relying on it.

THE APP AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ORUS, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.
